Smile Dental Care was founded in 2009 by Dr. Rajesh Naidoo with a simple mission: to provide the people of Nigel and surrounding areas with honest, affordable, and high-quality dental care.
What started as a single-chair practice has grown into a modern, fully equipped dental clinic serving thousands of patients across Gauteng. Over the years, we have built a reputation for gentle, patient-focused care and have become one of the most trusted dental practices in the Ekurhuleni region.

Meet Dr. Rajesh Naidoo
BChD (UWC), HPCSA Registered
Dr. Naidoo graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2006 and has dedicated his career to providing exceptional dental care. After gaining experience at several practices across Gauteng, he established Smile Dental Care in Nigel in 2009.
He has a special interest in restorative dentistry and cosmetic procedures, and regularly attends local and international conferences to stay at the forefront of dental techniques.
Outside the practice, Dr. Naidoo is an active member of the Nigel community, participating in oral health awareness campaigns at local schools and community centres.

Principal Dentist
With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Naidoo leads our practice with a passion for patient-centred care. He graduated from the University of the Western Cape and has a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Thandi Molefe
Associate Dentist
Dr. Molefe joined our team in 2019 and brings expertise in paediatric dentistry and orthodontics. She is known for her gentle approach, especially with nervous patients and children.
Sister Anelisa Dlamini
Dental Hygienist
Anelisa is our dedicated dental hygienist with a focus on preventive care. She ensures every patient leaves with a sparkling smile and the knowledge to maintain it at home.
Karen van der Merwe
Practice Manager
Karen keeps the practice running smoothly. From scheduling appointments to handling medical aid claims, she ensures every patient has a seamless experience from start to finish.
